Turquoise Bracelet Navajo Made Turquoise Inlay Sterling Silver Native American Bracelet.

This elegant Turquoise bracelet is hand made by Navajo artist Jamie
Johnson. The inlay design is made from hand cut tiles of natural
Sleeping Beauty Turquoise. These breathtaking sky blue Turquoise stones
are high quality and have been inlaid with perfection. Turquoise from
the Sleeping Beauty mine in Globe, Arizona is the preferred Turquoise
for inlay work. This type of inlay design was traditionally made by
Zuni artists but Jamie has become quite a pro. This stylish design is
timeless and full of classic Native character. Turquoise and Silver,
you can't go wrong with that. This bracelet is 1/4" wide. It'll fit a
5-1/2" to a 6-1/2" wrist. Stamped Sterling and signed by the Navajo
artist Jamie Jonhson. You'll receive one from the group pictured below.

Turquoise is one of the most valuable, non-transparent
minerals in the jewelry trade. It has been mined for eons since at
least 6000 BC by early Egyptians. Today, it is more popular than ever
and its use around the world is prolific. The most valuable Turquoise
has special characteristics; it is naturally hard the way it was found
and is a bright sky blue. Certain Native Americans called turquoise
"Chal-cui-hui-tal", meaning "the highest and most valued thing in the
world". Many believe the stone can help protect from demons, help a
person feel intuitively the difference between good and evil, and
protect against accidents or various dangers. To actually see a bright
blue nugget of Turquoise on the otherwise gray and dusty desert floor
would inspire anyone to realize the incredible nature of the stone.
This is what the American Indians have known to be true for millennia -
Turquoise is special, sacred, and has power.

We understand the true value and nature of hand crafted
Indian art. And, we recognize it's important to know that the artist is
truly a member of a Native American tribe..
